Rotating locations between Wasilla and Palmer AK this month are “Magic Tuesdays” at DQ Grill and Chill. Here families can enjoy food, and be entertained by a skilled magician on Tuesdays from 6-8 pm.
On November 14th the 6th Annual Mat-Su Miners’ 2009 Dinner Auction will take place; starting at 6 pm at Evangelo’s Restaurant, the auction preview begins and is followed by dinner at 7 pm with door prizes and other surprises along the way to a silent and live auction at 8 pm.
If you are passing by or visiting Wasilla, AK don’t forget to stop by the Dorothy Page Museum where residents can visit for free on Fridays. Special events will start in December at the Museum with the Annual Wasilla Community Holiday Celebration and the Gingerbread House Competition on December 5th as well as the “12×12 Days of Christmas” art exhibit running nearly all month.
And for those that love Thanksgiving Dinner, but don’t love the hassle of preparing an elaborate meal, than make reservations at the Sheep Creek Lodge this month and enjoy all the great taste of home without the bother.
