Mat-Su Valley AK Transportation Fair

On Thursday, October 8th, the Mat-Su Transportation Fair took place from 4-8 p.m. at Raven Hall.  Topics covered during the fair include a commuter-rail demonstration project, plans to realign Alaska Railroad tracks south of Wasilla, updates on the Wasilla Airport master plan, and the highway-to-highway plan to connect Seward and Glenn highways in Anchorage AK, just to name a few.  Also on the agenda were plans to change how the Palmer-Wasilla Highway enters Palmer, plans to extend South Mack Drive in Wasilla, and the rebuilding of the Glenn Highway from the Parks/Glenn Interchange into Palmer AK.  Learn all about these new projects and improvements for the Mat-Su Valley in the coming months.
